"That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind."

"That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind." To me this means that once you have interacted with a person, be it on purpose, accidentally, or even without knowing it, that connection is made and can never be undone. You have forever changed their course of life, and they yours. Whether or not the effect you had on each other turns out for the better or the worse, the change stays with you forever. There is nothing at all to be done that could change it.  To me, this means I must be kind to whosoever I may meet. I never want to have another negative effect on anyone I meet, since I have so very recently come to the realization that friends are very fragile creatures, and the home they make for you in their hearts is easily shattered. Making friends is difficult, harder still than keeping them. If your first impression on someone is one that lasts, but is negative, then you don't know what effect that will have on that person. I strive to make the best impression I possibly can the first time, especially with a stranger, because I never know how I may affect that person if I am not kind to them.
